Daña Alder - Advisor
  • Daña Alder has been Sex Out Loud’s advisor since January 1999, when the organization had just four student employees and a budget of about $18,000. She thinks SOL’s growth over the past decade is due in part to the excellence of the services it provides to UW Madison students and is also in direct proportion to the number of students who got that fine Abstinence-Only education in their high schools. When she’s not advising SOL staff, she’s the manager of the Campus Community Partnerships team at University Health Services, the staff of which work on community building, community health, civic engagement, and violence prevention at the UW-Madison.
